The Cryptobean logo and identity were originally created for a client who was planning to open a cryptocurrency themed coffee shop in Taipei, Taiwan. The shop would be a place for people to enjoy a cup of coffee and learn more about cryptocurrency. They were looking for a clean, modern, cryptocurrency themed design that would help them stand out as the only coffee shop in the city to exclusively accept cryptocurrency as payment.

Unfortunately, due to financing issues, the client had to pull the plug the project before ever seeing the first round of designs.  I continued to work on the design on my own, using another name for the company.

The logomark features a distributed network, the backbone of cryptocurrency, in the shape of a coffee bean. This is paired with company name set in a modified version of the font Hasteristico. I chose gold for the main color as a nod to the currency theme.
